The 10th International Conference on Self-Healing Materials (ICSHM2026) is seeking nominations for Early- and Mid-Career Awards. These two awards will recognize one outstanding early-career scientist and one mid-career scientist who are conducting research in the field of self-healing materials within academia/industry from across the globe. We are asking for your help in distributing this call for nominations of national and international candidates.

Criteria and Eligibility:

• Nominee must have completed their terminal academic degree:  no more than 10 years prior to July 8th, 2026, for the early-career award; no more than 15 years prior to July 8th 2026, for the mid-career award.
• Nominee must be working primarily in the field of self-healing materials.
• Self-nominations are not permitted.
• Nominee must plan to attend the ICSHM2026 held in Philadelphia, USA as the awardee will deliver a plenary/keynote talk at the conference. All costs associated with travel and registration will be reimbursed to the awardee. 

The selection of the awardee will be based on the nomination packet and accompanying evidence of self-healing contributions, including journal publications, scientific track-record, and receipt of other awards or recognitions, etc.

Nomination packet must include:

• A nomination letter (two pages or less) that provides details regarding the nominee’s eligibility and explains why the nominee deserves the award.
• The nominee’s Curriculum Vitae (CV), including degrees earned along with academic and professional background, achievements, publications, presentations, etc.  

Nominations should be submitted by January 31, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. ET to be considered. The nomination should be submitted electronically to icshm2026@drexel.edu. The subject heading should read Early- or Mid-Career Award Nomination.
